HISTORY

OF THE

KIWANIS CLUB OF CLOVIS, CALIFORNIA

The Kiwanis Club of Clovis was organized in 1975 when members of the Kiwanis Club of East Fresno decided to sponsor a club in the area. The first organizational meetings were held in October of that year and in November, 1975 the club received its official charter and club officers were installed.

Mr. Don R. Savino, a native of Clovis, served as the first President for the 1975-76 year. The operating year is October 1 to September 30.
